Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire Safety (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies that can provide a Cloud-based Records Management System (the “Solution”) including implementation and ongoing maintenance of said Solution (the “Services”). Replace the Records Management System with a flexible, modern platform that reduces manual processes, improves public accessibility and security. Enterprise Alignment and Readiness: Alignment with the Governor's priority for Modernizing State Government and DPS's priority for Public Safety Modernization by implementing a modern solution that enables coordinated efforts and records keeping in code enforcement, fire service training, public education, hazardous materials and incident investigation. Equity: Reduce risk of incomplete inspections by making historical information accessible in the field. Reduced risk during an emergency by pre-planning & communicating hazards to first responders. Increase compliance with licensed individuals completing all applicable continuing education Reporting capabilities to identify emerging issues, trends allowing optimizing resource allotment. Customer Service: Allow public facing self-service to obtain the status of active permit/work notices and construction documents. Automated communication mechanism for transactions with Fire Safety Staff.
