Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide public transportation services for Doña Ana County (DAC) for safe ride services on the days of Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 2:00am; Friday through Sunday from 12:00pm to 3:00am. 2. Provide safe ride services on observed holidays or pre-approved Special Events from 12:00 to 3:00am. i. Observed holidays shall include the 4th of July, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s Eve and Day. ii. Special Events may include Halloween, Cinco de Mayo, St. Patrick’s Day, Superbowl, Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Wine/Beer Fest, or other special events as identified. 3. Obtain prior approval for Special Events, not listed above, through the DAC Health and Human services (HHS) department. 4. Provide transportation services from liquor-selling and cannabis selling establishments where alcohol or cannabis is consumed, such as a nightclub, dance hall, restaurant, hotel, or house party where individuals will be taken to final residence or hotel. Riders shall not be transported from one liquor or cannabis establishment to another. 5. Provide safe ride services to those who are under the influence of alcohol or cannabis at the time of requested transportation to reduce the number of alcoholrelated drinking, driving crashes, injuries, and deaths, and driving while intoxicated and driving while under the influence of cannabis in Doña Ana County. 6. Provide ADA compliant transportation services utilizing a vehicle with a lift when needed for persons with disabilities who are under the influence of alcohol or cannabis at the time of requested transportation. 7. Provide return rides to vehicles as requested.
