Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work will include removing existing controls from a variety of HVAC equipment, including pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and legacy direct digital control systems, installing new controls on HVAC systems and connect to front ends at each school. Additional work will include replacement of air terminal boxes at two schoolsidentified I the Contract Documents. Functional testing to ensure equipment is operational prior to installing controls is also included in the Contract Documents. A defined quantity of equipment is included for replacement if existing equipment is found to not be functional, including dampers, operators, and line voltage thermostats. Ancillary work associated with the controls replacement and HVAC work will also be included, such as ceiling removal and replacement, core drilling, piping and insulation work.
