Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the Department of Environmental Protection to establish an open-end contract for pumping, hauling, and disposing of leachate from the Monongalia County Landfill, located in Monongalia County and from the Rehe (Preston County) Landfill, located in Arthurdale, West Virginia to the City of Fairmont Sanitary Sewer Board's Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in Fairmont, West Virginia; To provide for the hauling and disposal of leachate from the Monongalia County Landfill to the City of Fairmont Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Fairmont, West Virginia, or to the nearest WVDEP approved Wastewater Treatment Plant as directed by the WVDEP; Price per 100 gallons; The Vendor shall be responsible for providing all trucks, personnel, and related equipment for the pumping (i.e. hoses, fittings, etc), hauling and delivery of leachate from the Monongalia County Landfill and the Rehe (Preston County) Landfill to the City of Fairmont Sanitary Sewer Board’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, or to the nearest WVDEP approved WWTP as directed by the WVDEP. 3.1.1.1.1 The round trip from the Monongalia County Landfill to the WWTP is approximately 50 miles round trip and it is estimated that the total time from loading at the Landfill and traveling to the WWTP and back is two (2) hours 3.1.1.1.2 The Vendor shall have the capability and experience to collect and transport up to 24,999-gallons of leachate from the Monongalia County Landfill to the WWTP in an eight (8) hour period.
