Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Removal of existing storefront including curb, removal of existing windows, sheathing and insulation at existing vestibule canopy. • Demolition and removal of existing triangular exterior concrete approach slab including unsuitable subgrade soils. • Placement of new non-frost susceptible subgrade soil and installation of new paver units to match adjacent. • Install new entry storefront assembly flush with the existing garage structure and install new double entry doors including ADA access hardware and controls. • Electrical work includes removal and replacement of existing light fixtures, wiring for an ADA door operator, extension of DC power and control wiring to a new door controller, and low voltage wiring to electrified door hardware. • A temporary security wall shall be erected between the Work area and the South elevator cab which will remain in operation with the ADA accessible entry door. • The Owner will arrange to deactivate the North elevator cab for the duration of the Work. Contactor to provide warning, detour signage and fencing for pedestrian safety. • Temporary heat as required during the Work.
