Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of New Mexico (UNM or the University) will be accepting Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR”, “CMAR Contractor or “CM at Risk”) Construction Delivery Services qualification statements from licensed and experienced construction firms interested in providing CMAR services for the construction of a facility expansion of the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center (the “Project”). Respondents are encouraged to submit proposals that they feel deliver the best value for this project. UNMCCC has completed a Functional Concept Manual in 2019 which has been used to guide the design and construction of the project. As of to date, UNMCCC and Huitt Zollars have engaged in several rounds of Value Engineering and scope reduction to facilitate budgetary requirements. The scope of the project has been reduced to deliver select clinical services, mechanical system upgrades and additional core and shell in preparation for future tenant improvements.
