Specifications include, but are not limited to: Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR), in cooperation with the Canyon Country Moab Field Office Bureau of Land Management, is acquiring services in this contract to provide for wildlife habitat improvement and hazardous fuels reduction by treating multiple units within the East Canyon project area. All units will receive a slashing and lop and scatter treatment of pinyon and juniper trees with an overall density of light sized trees. (See table below for a summary of treatment units.) This includes the contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to clear treatment units on approximately 759 acres on the East canyon project area. Work under this Contract is located in San Juan County, Utah.
