Specifications include, but are not limited to: Salt Lake County is seeking information from vendors/suppliers that are interested and able to provide a wide range of employee engagement and recognition options through a customizable online platform. The Salt Lake County Health Department (SLCoHD) through its Executive Director’s Office is seeking information on whether a vendor exists that is able to provide a comprehensive, wide range of web-based employee engagement options for approximately 600 employees. The selected platform would be made up of several components to include: • A recognition platform that will facilitate employee-to-employee (up, down, and peer to peer) recognition. • A virtual “store” that allows employees to spend earned recognition credit on their choice of recognition option(s). • An intranet site that: o facilitates bi-directional communication and socialization o houses files and forms SLCoHD will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and population of customized content. The employee engagement platform must offer the following features: • Multiple log-ins/user access • Ability for SLCoHD to fully customize and populate content • Bi-directional communication • Options for staff virtual socialization (i.e., message boards, online yard sales, etc.) • Ability to house forms and files • User-friendly • Interoperability with existing County software such as PeopleSoft, eDirectory, SmartSheet, etc. • Intuitive search function • Calendar feature • Fully integrated with an employee recognition platform (Component 2) • Ability to edit code • Provide information on which content management system will be utilized
