Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Nicholasville hereby request Bids for the Water Treatment Plant Clean Out around River Intakes on 1 thru 6 Raw Water Intakes. • Move in and transport an excavator from 39 ramp to raw water intakes. • Excavator to be mounted on sectional barges with spuds. • Clean out washed in debris from in front of intake screens. • Debris will need to be dumped in river downstream of intakes. • Intakes 1,2,3,4 are visible and can be cleaned without divers. • Intakes 5 and 6 will require divers to locate intakes to allow cleaning without damaging screens. • Divers to be included in Request for Bid for Intakes 5 and 6. • All raw water pumps to be locked out while divers are in water. • Excavator to be Transport from intakes to ramp and moved out. • Repair Channel on bank.
