Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Department of Mental Health (DMH, hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies that can provide Suicide Prevention project management. The purpose of the RFP is to solicit proposals from company/vendors in order to provide coordination and project management related to further development of the 988-crisis lifeline and the Governor’s Challenge related to Suicide prevention. Project management and guidance for projects such as implementation of 988 and suicide prevention as a governor’s initiative. The project manager will track activities related to further develop 988 crises care system, including organizing a work plan, assessing delivery of services, assist in submitting reports to federal entities, communicate with federal partners, host and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, examine 988 budget and allocation of funds, assist in creation of public presentation materials, and ensure a quality program is administered. In addition, the project manager will ensure marketing efforts and communications align with national initiatives. The project manager will be involved with the Governor’s Challenge suicide prevention work as well. Duties entail; submission of implementation and action plans, deadlines are adhered to, priority area workgroups are meeting and communicating progress, communicate with federal partners, assist in procuring technical assistance and subject matter experts as needed, and attendance at periodic in-person site visits and conferences.
