Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2 Required Qualifications for Technical Water-focused Meetings and workshops coordination, content development, and facilitation • Collaborate with planning team to develop water education program for NM decision makers • At least 5 years of experience working in complex water issues in New Mexico or the Western US • Water-focused meeting design and workshop planning • Agenda design for complex, multiday, indoor and outdoor water-focused workshops and field trips • Coordinating with numerous subject matter experts, presenters and other faciliators • Water-focused multiday meeting facilitation • Mediation and facilitation of large, diverse groups around contentious water issues • Regular check in meetings • Tracking of action items and planning group activities • Communications with workshop attendees, before, during and after events • Coordination of meeting / workshop logistics including large group travel, hotels, catering, and other event planning tasks • Develop survey for participants before and after events • Develop workshop handouts, fact sheets, and other water science materials • Organize and lead working groups • Collect notes, write summaries and other reporting, as needed.
