Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department’s three (3) state hospitals are all either accredited by the Joint Commission or in process of becoming Joint Commission accredited. The standards that are put forth by the Joint Commission require all state hospitals with deemed status be able to track and produce reporting features to report to the Joint Commission and bill for Federal funding. Brightly software provides State Hospital West (SHW), State Hospital North (SHN), and State Hospital South (SHS) the ability to track and report on maintenance requests, maintenance completion, and materials management requests for supplies throughout the facilities. Brightly is a cloud-based vendor hosted software product that includes built-in Joint Commission standards for compliance with environment of care requirements that also prioritizes work orders and preventative maintenance work orders as well as the Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS). The environment of care ensures the safety and security of patients throughout the state who are housed in our hospitals. The software also tracks motor pool and vehicle maintenance. Inventory management is performed online and supplies an automatic inventory replenishment feature for inventory requests and monitors inventory levels by location.
