Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. WORK AREA INCLUDED: All entrances, offices, foyers, printing rooms, lounge rooms, computer rooms, hallways, closets, conference rooms, break rooms, and restrooms. This also includes office glass, and interior and exterior glass portion of doors. b. WORK AREA EXCLUDED: No work is required in maintenance shops, elevator shafts, mechanical rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms. c. MISCELLANEOUS SUPPLIES: The Contractor shall furnish all rest room supplies (with dispensers if needed) such as toilet seat covers and tissue, liquid hand soap, deodorizers, urinal screens and deodorizers, paper towels, and appropriate plastic liners for trash cans. All restroom and cleaning supplies will be environmentally safe. Corrosive, caustic or acidic cleaning agents, which may damage finished surfaces if improperly used, are not permitted, unless approved by the Project Manager. And abrasive cleaning materials tending to abrade or streak porcelain fixtures, such as steel wool and scouring powder, shall not be used. The Contractor will also provide all cleaning materials. The cost of these materials and supplies shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. d. DUMPSTERS/TRASH REMOVAL FROM SITE: The Community Building dumpster is shared with the Dimond Courthouse and is located on Seward Street. The dumpster is to remain locked by the janitorial contractor. If the Community Building dumpster is full, the garbage shall be transferred to the State Office Building dumpster.
