Specifications include, but are not limited to: Juab School District is inviting bids from qualified contractors to perform recoating services for our wood flooring at 2 locations. The purpose of this project is to restore and protect the existing wood flooring surfaces by applying a fresh coat of finish. The contractor will be responsible for assessing the flooring condition, preparing the surface, and applying an appropriate recoating system to enhance the appearance and durability of the wood flooring. *West Campus Junior High School 475 East 800 North The Floor at this location was sanded down and finished at the end of the remodel of this school in 2019. It was lined out with basketball courts, volleyball courts and pickle ball courts. The finish that was used for the Primary topcoat and all coats since is Hillyard 450 Gym Floor Finish (Urethane finish). This is the preferred finish that the district would like to stay with and meets the strict VOC requirements. The floor measures 6500 square feet (65’ x 100’). We are seeking bids for a buff and top coat for this floor. *The Hive 645 East 700 North The floors at this location have been in service for 1 year. There are four basketball courts with 6 lined out volleyball courts and three pickleball courts. We are seeking bids for three more pickleball courts to be added to the two east basketball courts. Also seeking bids to top coat finish all wood flooring at this site. West courts measure 91’ x 124’ (11,284 sq ft) and East courts measure 91.5’ x 124 (11,346 sq ft). These floors were finished with a water base finish. We would entertain bid pricing for the same finish and also bid pricing to prep and recoat with the Hillyard 450 Gym Floor finish.
