Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. High density mobile shelving – constructed of metal and finished with a powder or baked enamel coating. B. Configuration of shelving must make maximum use of a footprint covering approximately 9,000 square feet. C. Shelving will accommodate books, periodicals, government documents and special collections items. Accordingly, it must have a minimum per-face depth of 9 inches and a minimum shelf length of 36 inches. Shelving on two-faced mobile carriages must be configurable to accommodate storage of items up to 18” across both sides of the unit. D. Height to structure measure in the area of installation is 9’3” and the installed height of the shelving should be no higher than 103” above the existing floor. E. Mobile carriages may be manually operated, or power assisted. If manually operated, the units must be easily movable by one-person when fully loaded.
