The objectives of this project are to select an established vendor that can provide a mobile-friendly interface for MyRC. The ideal solution would provide an intuitive user interface, allow public users and staff to access existing MyRC resources, and be accessible across a wide variety of mobile devices with differing levels of network access. Today, MyRC has around 650 users of Secure MyRC and the public version of MyRC averages around 20,000 hits per month. The number of public users could show a large increase if a mobile-friendly version of the site becomes available, although it is unclear to what extent this should be expected. For additional references on current functionality, please reference the current version of MyRC and screenshots of the application provided. In order to provide a mobile-friendly solution, Johnson County is looking for a vendor with an established track record of successfully converting web applications to a responsive mobile design. The vendor would also need to have the appropriate resources and technical capabilities to commit to Johnson County’s requirements for a responsive mobile design and deliver this within the agreed upon timeframe.
