Specifications include, but are not limited to: Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) is seeking proposals to provide Maintenance and Repairs on Heavy-Duty Vehicles and Equipment as described in the “Scope of Services” section of this Request for Proposals (RFP) document. This document provides instructions for submitting proposals, the procedure and criteria by which the Provider(s) shall be selected and the contractual terms which shall govern the relationship between the State of Maine (State) and the awarded Bidder. MaineDOT seeks to establish a relationship with one (1) provider from the auto, truck, and equipment services industry who, at the State’s discretion, will provide a broad array of repair services as anticipated and requested by MaineDOT. MaineDOT anticipates that a net annual cost savings would be achieved through efficient repair management while supporting reliable transportation. This is a request for the pricing of labor to perform maintenance and repairs to heavy-duty fleet vehicles and specialty equipment located at MaineDOT Region 1 (Southern Region) and other locations as needed.
