Specifications include, but are not limited to: Iowa State University (ISU) College of Veterinary Medicine, Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (LVMC) is seeking Teleradiology Services with a veterinary teleradiology vendor to meet timely clinical case diagnosis and animal care needs and the opportunity to partner with the University Diagnostic Imaging ACVR residency training program and veterinary student clinical training. Provide Digital infrastructure compatible with ISU computer security and PACS system needs. Services provided by radiologists who are Diplomats of the American College of Veterinary Radiology, or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging or Fellows of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in good standing. Modalities for Teleradiology support to include Digital Radiology (DR) including dental radiographs, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), nuclear Medicine, and Fluoroscopy. Species supported to include small animal (dog, cat, some exotics) and large animal (horse, cow, small ruminant, swine, and some zoo). Written specialist-level radiology reports provided as a PDF file, with appropriate academic Teleradiology detail and labeling for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) of an academic institution, to support the medicallegal EMR, support animal patient care and diagnostic needs, as well as training of veterinary students and radiology residents. It will be the University responsibility to upload the provided PDF report into their EMR. For radiography (DR) and Ultrasound, written reports provided within 1 to 3 days for standard requests, or within 4 hours for priority requests, or 60 minutes for stat requests. For all other modalities, including MRI, CT, NM and Fluoroscopy, written reports provided within 1 to 3 days for standard requests, or within 24 hours for priority requests, or 4 hours for stat requests. Standard Teleradiology service provided and available 24 hours/7 days per week/365 days per year, including all holidays. This excludes radiology resident over-reads service. Emergency Teleradiology cover will be available 24/7/365. Real-time/live support from Radiologists who are scheduled on shift desired.
