Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Kansas (KU) seeks a branding consultant (firm) that will deliver information and guidance with a fresh, external, research-informed, and experienced perspective. The goal of this RFP is to identify the best-qualified firm to develop a KU branding platform and recommended implementation plan that will 1. Differentiate KU from other higher education institutions in a way that is highly valuable to key audiences 2. Unify and productively serve the many units and activities of KU 3. Allow for flexibility when varied units engage with varied audiences 4. Be relevant and compelling to key audiences in 2023 and, as best as one can forecast, for many years to come 5. Serve as a catalyst that strengthens, eases, and accelerates many KU initiatives ranging from recruiting teenagers to one of our campuses, to recruiting adult students to online programs, to recruiting and retaining faculty and staff, to engaging public officials, employers, donors, alumni, Kansans and others, to securing grants and other external support. 6.
