Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the County Auditor for the County of Maui anticipates that it may retain the services of economists to apply economic principals and statistical methods in the research of specified subject areas of Hawaii’s economy for the purpose of providing written or oral conclusions to the Office of the County Auditor, and to serve as subject matter experts for audits or special projects being conducted or to be conducted during Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). Specialized subject areas of Hawaii’s economy may include tourism, unemployment, affordable housing, construction, real estate, the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, or other related areas.
