Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the County Auditor for the County of Maui anticipates that it may retain the services of property managers or natural resource property managers to gather and analyze facts and figures, to provide written or oral conclusions to the Office of the County Auditor, and to serve as subject matter experts for audits or special projects being conducted or to be conducted during Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). Specialized experience at the state or municipal level may include knowledge of: (1) systems to control, protect, preserve, and maintain government owned land; (2) regulations regarding trespassing or other activities prohibited on government owned land; (3) theories, concepts, and practices of conserving, utilizing, and sustaining natural, physical, and cultural resources; or (4) other related areas regarding the management of government owned land.
