Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the County Auditor for the County of Maui anticipates that it may retain the services of professional engineers, architects, surveyors, and landscape architects to gather and analyze facts and figures, to provide written or oral conclusions to the Office of the County Auditor, and to serve as subject matter experts for audits being conducted or to be conducted during Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). Analyses may include the following: independent review of County capital improvement projects or cost estimates related to capital improvement projects; ad-hoc estimation of planning, design, or construction costs for structures, buildings, roadways, environmental improvements, or water and sewer systems; review for adherence to project management, land management, or engineering best practices; and other related professional services as set forth in Chapter 464, Hawaii Revised Statues.
