Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services (WVDHHR), Office of Health Facilities (OHF), John Manchin Sr Health Care Center is soliciting bids to establish a contract for an Attending Physician. Vendor shall provide approximately 1040 hours of physician services including every other week on call rotation with pre planned on call when Medical Director is off duty. Vendor shall provide timely 24 hours 7 days per week on call services as needed. Vendor shall make rounds prior to 9:00pm Monday-Friday Vendor shall examine assigned residents one time monthly. Vendor shall serve on Admission Committee upon request. Vendor shall serve on Quality Council, Pharmacy Committee, Infection Control Committee and Medical records committee as needed. Vendor shall complete discharge summaries as needed. Vendor shall provide timely signature of orders. Vendor shall review all resident care procedures as needed. Vendor shall provide in-service programs for staff. Vendor shall review any problem with staff practice. Vendor shall assist in establishing health policy for residents and staff. Vendor shall chair regular medical staff meetings as needed. Vendor shall submit monthly invoices, in arrears, pursuant to the terms of the contract.
