Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant shall prepare a Comprehensive Plan for the City of Cranston (including all necessary texts, documents, graphics, computer files, maps and renderings) that complies with Chapter 22.2 Rhode Island Comprehensive Planning and Land Use Act, the RI Comprehensive Planning Standards Manual as amended, the Comprehensive Planning Guidance Handbook Revised and Abridged, so that the Plan will be approved by the RI Division of Statewide Planning. Once the Plan has been approved by the City Council and submitted to the RI Division of Statewide Planning for review and comment, the consultant shall be responsible for addressing any outstanding issues or concerns raised by the State in order for this Plan to be ultimately approved.
