Specifications include, but are not limited to: 575 lineal feet of 6-foot-wide sidewalk, 90 feet of concrete block wall, five curb ramp updates, and seven concrete approaches along the south side of Center Street. The project starts at 13th Ave. and runs to 18th Ave. filling in missing sidewalk section and incorporates five bus stops along Pocatello Regional Transit A/E Route. Project scope includes the removal and disposal of existing non-compliant ramps or curb/sidewalk sections, new base preparation, forming/pouring of new curb ramp, curb/gutter, and asphalt patch back per plan. Each curb ramp must be inspected by City staff before asphalt patch back is complete. Contractor is also responsible for traffic control through the duration of the project and must adhere the the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Pedestrian access must be maintained on one side of the street at all times.
