Specifications include, but are not limited to: ITD Highways Section under Title 40, contracted for property damage claim services with Claims Management Resources (CMR). The contract has expired and ITD has determined that these services should migrate to ITD Business Support and Management under Title 67. CMR’s core competency is property damages and recovery. CMR is not a collection agency. It is a recovery firm that is notified when damage to State of Idaho owned property occurs either from notification by ITD, police reports and CMR’s database. CMR handles claims nationwide for Fortune 500 companies and DOTS. CMR identifies damaged property, investigates through various means, the individual persons responsible for damage, and collect on state property damage on all Idaho interstates and state highways. The damage recovery project includes the end-to-end processing of all damage claims as assigned by Department, recovery of all costs associated with damage to state assets incurred including, but not limited to, fleet and other infrastructure related facilities.
