Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 Awarded Bidder shall provide up to 450 dinners daily to 7440 Jim McDowell Rd. NW 87121 (“Shelter”). 3.2 Dinners shall be delivered hot no later than 5:30PM. 3.3 All meals shall be delivered in a ready-to-eat state to the Shelter. 3.4 Meals shall not in any instance be prepared, assembled, or reheated in any way at the Shelter. 3.5 Awarded Bidder shall prepare and deliver a variety of well-balanced, fulfilling meals with adequate portion size containing nutritious elements such as protein, vegetable, and carbohydrates The Department will be the final authority on whether the delivered meals meet this requirement. 3.6 Quantities of meals will vary based on needs. The City will email the Awarded Bidder a minimum of five (5) days in advance with the count of meals for the following week. 3.6.1 Awarded Bidder shall confirm receipt of the numbers by return email. 3.7 Awarded Bidder shall provide plastic prepackaged cutlery, napkins, bowls, plates, cups, and serving dishes as appropriate for each meal served. 3.8 Awarded Bidder's driver or other employee shall deliver the food indoors into the cafeteria or food serving area. Dishes and any other of the Awarded Bidder's items left from the previous meal shall be picked up by the driver or other designated employee when delivering the next meal. Food shall not be left on the premises if not received by Shelter staff. 3.8.1 Shelter Staff shall accept, verify, and distribute the meals. 3.8.2 Awarded Bidder shall provide a receipt for each delivery to the Shelter for the meals delivered. The receipt, at a minimum, shall have the date, number of meals delivered and signature of City representative that accepted the delivery. 3.9 Awarded Bidder shall provide meals without fail while under contract with the City of Albuquerque. Failure to provide meals as scheduled may result in a termination of the contract awarded under this RFB. 3.10 Awarded Bidder shall make meal menus available for the City’s review upon request. Upon City request for a copy of the menu, it shall be submitted in the same manner as stated in section 3.6.1.
