Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Johnson, herein called “County”, is seeking a vendor partner who can administer a superior advocacy program producing measurable outcomes and ROI. As such, selection will be based on a combination of competitive fees, demonstrated superior member and client service, and measurable outcomes. It is expected that the advocacy vendor will help members navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and empower them to optimize their decision making. This includes, but is not limited to being responsible for customer service, answering coverage questions, claims eligibility, provider selection, steerage and claims advocacy. The expectation is that these transactional elements will be "converted" to holistic support and proactive identification of opportunities to simplify and resolve for the member. Vendors will also be expected to provide the support and controls for managing the health of the member holistically. Scope and delineation between the advocacy program, external health-related vendors , and health plan customer service will be vetted and mutually agreed upon.
