Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Nebraska (State), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Behavioral Health, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) Number 11563 O3 for the purpose of selecting a qualified Contractor to provide Substance Use Disorder Counselor Core Education and Continuing Education Services. All courses offered shall meet the Provisional License and License Requirements guidelines set forth in 172 NAC 15. Hours of education as it relates to 172 NAC 15 is determined as follows: one clock hour equals 60 minutes of instruction; one semester hour of post-secondary education equals 15 hours of education; and one quarter (four quarters per year) hour of post-secondary education equals 10 hours of education. Contractor may provide the required hours in one continuous course or a series of courses each fiscal year.
