Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska Susitna Borough School District (MSBSD) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to supply and install a new boiler at Palmer High School. The scope includes demolition, boiler supply and installation, electrical, re-piping, and controls. A. Demolish existing boiler parts from the downed sectional boiler. Refer to Appendix 7: Electrical Drawings, and Appendix 8: Mechanical Drawings for full demolition scope. Please save salvageable parts for the MSBSD Facilities Department. B. Install new boiler per Appendix 7: Electrical Drawings and Appendix 8: Mechanical Drawings. The new boiler must be a natural gas fired fire tube water boiler with power burner - Burnham Model CW-150A with a Power flame burner model CR4-G-25. The MSBSD will not accept substitutions.
