All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for asbestos testing and required abatement; demolition and removal of waste and debris; procurement, delivery, and full installation of (1) new ADA-compliant precast concrete restroom building, including foundation design; procurement, delivery, and full installation of (3) new steel platforms, including foundations, and (3) new wooden privacy fence enclosures; and performance of all related flatwork, grading, drainage, and electrical work, all complete, operational, and in place in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and all applicable codes, regulations, and standards. Building shall include three (3) stalls per restroom; HVAC; metal toilets, sinks, and accessories; electric hand dryers; baby changing stations in each restroom; bi-level ADA compliant drinking fountain with bottle filler; flood openings; room signage; and privacy partitions at the entrance, complete in place. All installations and mounting of fixtures and accessories shall comply with all applicable Texas Accessibility Standards. Steel platforms shall include foundations, access ladders, metal racks for new equipment, and wooden fencing with gates for privacy enclosures. New mechanical and electrical equipment shall be elevated in compliance with all applicable Harris County floodplain regulations. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining asbestos survey and report, performing required abatement as required, obtaining required demolition permits, and complying with State of Texas notification requirements for demolition. Contractor shall be responsible for disposal of waste and debris in accordance with all applicable environmental regulations for handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Contractor shall be responsible for disconnecting and reconnecting utilities; protecting existing hardscape, landscaping, storm sewers, and drainage inlets; and verifying locations of buried utility infrastructure in the vicinity of the work areas prior to any digging or excavation. Contractor shall salvage and store existing pavers prior to demolition and re-install existing pavers after construction.
