Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP)the Office of Purchasing & Contracting (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with oneor more companies that can provide freezing, drying, and recovery services for public records,publications, and documents as well as audio/visual and electronic media according toacceptedpreservation standards and practices.The opportunity to contract under the resulting agreement, without further bidding, is extended to other state agencies, cultural heritage repositories, and municipal entities. Any contract emanating from this RFP will be conducted on a fee for service basis and any Vermont entity contracting with the disaster recovery firm(s) will need to use its own insurance or other funds to pay for any services rendered.
