Specifications include, but are not limited to: Two (2) Statewide On-Call Agreements, anticipated at $700,000 and $500,000 each over a three-year term, are needed to provide on-call geotechnical subsurface exploration services for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT). Typical assignments may include: Subsurface investigations consisting of cased wash borings, hollow-stem auger borings, undisturbed soil sampling, and diamond bit rock coring Standard penetration tests and split-barrel sampling in accordance with AASHTO T 206 Thin-walled tube sampling in accordance with AASHTO T 207 Diamond core drilling in accordance with AASHTO T 225 Installation of groundwater monitoring wells in accordance with ASTM D5092; decommissioning and sealing of abandoned monitoring wells in accordance with the New Hampshire (NH) Water Well Board Administrative Rules Part We 604 (license required) Explorations at sites with known or suspected contaminated soil or groundwater, requiring training to the OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response standard (HAZWOPER) Performance of explorations on water bodies from a boat or barge Traffic control and flagging in accordance with the (MUTCD) Contractors must be capable of providing a drill rig with ancillary equipment including but not limited to tripod, track, truck or skid mounted drill rigs, with the ability to perform drilling for subsurface investigations using a cathead as needed for variable site conditions. Projects are expected take place at any time during the year, including winter, at locations anywhere within the State of New Hampshire, or bordering states for interstate roadway and bridge projects. Task order assignments will be made in approximate proportion to the contract amounts, taking into account availability, workload, and suitability of the assignment.
