Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Tobii DynaVox I-110 is the only speech generating device of its size and with its unique set of features available on the current market. This device is only manufactured by the Tobii DynaVox company. The TD I-110 will be used in evaluations to determine if clients with communication disorders, referred to the T. K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability from across the entire state of Mississippi, can benefit from this type of communication support. Clients range from age 2 throughout the lifespan and have a wide variety of disorders preventing them from effectively using natural speech to communicate. The TD I-110’s many and unique options allow our staff to address the maximum number of variables including, but not limited to, age, disorder, vocation, education level, socio-economic level, mobility, motor control, activity level, preferred language, visual acuity, and access method with one type of device instead of several types of devices during an evaluation.
