Specifications include, but are not limited to: NMIMT is looking to procure services to provide a remote virtual Information Security Officer (vISO) / Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) as a way of acquiring a back-stop service for security expertise to lead the process of enhancing the security posture at New Mexico Tech from a well-established vendor. The purpose is to facilitate an improved and "best in breed" security service that works within the Higher Education framework and provides information security leadership and support for New Mexico Tech core services. The vISO/vCISO service must be provided by staff that understands how to implement security services within an educational environment. Must have strong knowledge the areas of GLBA, FCI, FERPA, PCI and CMMC 2.0 requirements and needs.
