All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. GENERAL SAW REQUIREMENTS B. Diesel powered C. Saw chassis to be of the welded box section construction type with an approximate weight of 1,700 lbs. D. Capable of being connected to a trailer mounted water supply for blade concrete cutting operation. E. Front pivot type for added maneuverability F. Must have handlebars for maneuvering the saw. G. Must have a front guide to locate path of cutting line. H. Must have an EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN SYSTEM. 2. ENGINE A. Minimum of 47 horsepower, 4 cylinder diesel engine which meets the current Federal EPA emission requirements. B. Liquid cooled using a 50/50 Water/Ethyl Glycol mix C. Must have at least a (5) five gallon fuel tank D. Must have a 12-volt starting and charging system E. Must have a flywheel style alternator or belt driven alternator. F. Must have a dual element air filter assembly with rain cap. G. Both engine oil and hydraulic filter shall be of the spin- on type. H. The engine must have a high temperature and low oil pressure shutdown system. I. Must have an engine tachometer, voltmeter, hour meter, oil pressure gauge or light and temperature gauge. 3. TRANSMISSION A. To be of the balanced dual motor hydraulic drive system type or equivalent with the capability of electrically controlling hydraulic differential system locks on the rear wheels for positive traction. B. Must be capable of “freewheeling”. Unit to have a parking brake. C. To have a console mounted controls to engage and disengage the saw for movement and free wheel. D. Console controls must include forward, reverse, dynamic braking and neutral stop.
