Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Marshalltown (“the City”) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for interested and qualified consultants with public sector recruitment and selection experience to conduct a City Administrator nationwide search for the City. The consultant should be able to demonstrate the success of previous public sector job searches and provide satisfied references. Understand the desired qualifications of the City Administrator. Develop a recruitment strategy with detailed action steps and timelines, including the plan for a nationwide advertising strategy. Screen candidates to evaluate their qualifications and recommend the best qualified candidates to proceed to the interview/selection process. Guide and assist with conducting the on-site interview and selection process. Assist in negotiating the compensation package and timeline of employment to commence.
