Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Rhode Island (URI or the University) is looking to relocate the Providence Campus and invites landlords to submit qualifications to lease commercial office space in the Greater Providence area for use by URI as its Providence Campus; Offerors are invited to submit proposals that meet the following space requirements for 8,000-9,000 rentable square feet of space (the “Core Space”) or a part thereof. As part of the negotiation, URI reserves the right to increase or decrease the required rentable square footage to meet the then-current expected need as may be available in the proposed location. At a minimum, the proposals need to indicate the availability of 2,000 RSF. The Core Space shall be contiguous within the building. Contiguous space is defined as being: • On each level, there are no other non-University tenant spaces that separate the University’s space.
