All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Conduct six (6) mowing/clearings at each specified storm water pond during FY-24. See Attachment A for the facility list, addresses, site information, and available photographs. Attachment A is provided for Contractor’s information only. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify the site locations and conditions prior to the performance of the Work. b. Remove minor or incidental trash and accumulated debris in each Pond. c. Remove small amounts of sediments, minor debris, or other blockage from storm drain inflows. d. Ensure to mow all dry and accessible internal portions of the Pond; including around the facility control structures, facility fill embankments, and chain link fence (if existing) to remove excessive vegetative growth. e. Repair up to ten (10) square yards of minor erosion at each Pond. f. Submit before and after photologs for each mowing event at each Pond. g. Add Alternate Item: Two (2) additional mowing events on an as-needed basis as shown on the Service Bid Form. The Add Alternate Item Work is not part of the Base Bid but will be performed by the Contractor upon the request from the Owner (MVA) or MES. h. Site Investigations: The Contractor shall investigate the site and satisfy himself as to the conditions affecting the Work in accordance with the General Conditions of the Contract Documents. Any failure by the Contractor to acquaint himself with the Scope of Services and site conditions shall not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the Work. i. Personal Protective Equipment: It is the Contractor’s responsibility to provide personal protective equipment for its employees and perform the Contract Work in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
