Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Project Manager The Contractor shall be required to provide a representative (Project Manager) who shall be the Commission’s main contact. This contact shall be required to manage the day-to-day operations of the field locators, locator’s call center, and be available to the Commission during normal business hours. The Project Manager shall be required to: a. Coordinate, schedule and attend monthly meetings to discuss work progress, and provide a written summary of such progress through meeting minutes. b. Provide best-in-class/innovative damage prevention methods and techniques. c. Attend monthly damage prevention meetings hosted by the Maryland Damage Prevention Committee d. Manage data and workload distribution. e. Attend job site meetings, as required. 2. Field Locator(s) When required, field locators shall locate, mark and respond to tickets, on behalf of the Commission, in accordance with the latest version of the Maryland Code: Title 12 “Underground Facilities”; Subtitle 1: “Excavation or Demolition Near Underground Facilities”. a. Training All field locators shall be required to attend Maryland Miss Utility’s Damage Prevention Training annually at no cost to the Commission. b. Marking Guidelines When marking, the Commission will require field locators to mark in accordance with Maryland’s Annotated Code, Public Utilities Article, Title 12 and the latest version of the Marking Guidelines for the State of Maryland and Washington, DC. The latest version can be found on www.missutility.net. The Contractor shall be required to mark all the Commission’s underground facilities up to the property line.
