Specifications include, but are not limited to: Fence Installation • Call for locates prior to project start date. • Place new fencing in CIHA specified locations. • Set fence posts in concrete. • Install specified fence in accordance with manufactures recommendations and standard industry practices. Fencing Standards • All fencing shall be in strict conformance with the As-build or plot plan drawings, specifications, and all applicable building codes. • All fencing shall be plumb, level, square and rigidly secured. • All fence posts are to be set in concrete. • Fencing shall be installed neatly, according to the manufacturer's specifications. • Material shall be used in a manner that will obtain maximum utilization and minimum waste. • All metal pipe and fittings used for chain link fence to be galvanized. • Metal chain link fabric and wire lashing to be galvanized. • PVC coated chain link may also be used as directed. • All fails nails and screws are to be galvanized or stainless.
