Specifications include, but are not limited to: System shall be web-based and function and interface with the current KETS environment as described in: https://education.ky.gov/districts/tech/kpur/Documents/KETS%20Tech nical%20Environment%20Overview%20Public%20(1).pdf b. Vendor shall be responsible for hosting the system in an approved cloud facility that meets compliance requirements. This includes at minimum a production (public) site, secure site for district data entry, verification/validation and a test site for testing all modifications prior to release. c. System shall be fully accessible via standard internet browsers, including, at a minimum, Edge, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Vendor shall test prior to release in all standard browsers to help ensure full accessibility. i. System should support new, stable browser versions within 6 months of their release. ii. System should at all times support usage of at least two prior stable versions of the browser software, or all stable versions released within prior year. iii. System should not rely on Flash, Java, or other browser plug-ins. iv. System should not rely on unusual or customized browser or network configuration requirements. v. System should be easily found by and accessed from common web search engines. d. All user interfaces to the solution(s) provided, shall be warranted by the Vendor to comply with the accessibility requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794d), and its implementing regulations set forth at Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, part 1194.1. Vendor further warrants that the products or services to be provided under the awarded contract comply with existing federal standards established under Section 255 of the Federal Telecommunications Act of 1996 (47 U.S.C. § 255), and its implementing regulations set forth at Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, part 1194.2, to the extent the vendor's products or services may be covered by that act.
