Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Office of Purchasing & Contracting (hereinafter the “State”) seeks to establish a contract with a qualified Architectural and/or Engineering firm to provide architectural and engineering design services for the replacement of the existing fire pump at 108 Cherry Street, Burlington, VT. The existing fire pump is nearing the end of its service life. The primary objective of this project is to replace the existing fire pump and controls with a new fire pump and compatible controls to extend the life of the sprinkler system. The following shall be included in the architectural/engineering design firm’s scope of work: 2.1.1. Evaluate condition of existing pump and controls 2.1.2. Remove and replace existing fire pump 2.1.3. Upgrade fire pump controls;
