Specifications include, but are not limited to: This request for Technical Proposals issued by the State of Rhode Island Division of Purchases on behalf of the Rhode Island Department of Transportation is to acquire consultant services to provide On Call Traffic Engineering services for the State Traffic Commission (STC). The STC is tasked with reviewing requests for traffic control devices such as stop signs, traffic signals and roundabouts and for traffic and safety initiatives related to crosswalks, speed limits and striping changes. OnCall services under this selection shall be coordinated and managed under the direction of RIDOT's Office of Safety in conjunction with the STC, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), municipalities and other state agencies, as required.
