Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rhode Island Department of Corrections is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to provide dental prosthetics for the inmate population. Facilities contain a medical service area including a full dental operatory. DOC is seeking a qualified vendor to work in collaboration with the onsite dental contractor to provide dental prosthetics. • The selected vendor will provide appropriately licensed professional staff to perform the requested services on an as-needed basis as determined by the onsite dental contractor and the Administrator of Health Care Services. • The selected vendor must be a member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories, or a similar organization. Supporting documentation must be included with the bid package. • The Dental Technicians employed by the selected vendor must be certified by the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology or a similar organization. Supporting documentation must be included with the bid package. • Provide an Infection Control Program to be used by the contracted service provider in accordance with ADA standards.
