Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Transportation is seeking bids for Livingston Maintenance Section Sand/Salt Stockpile Cover Structure. The Contractor shall keep the premises free from debris and accumulation of waste. Remove all construction smears and stains from finished surfaces, remove all surplus materials, tool's and construction equipment before requesting final payment from the Department. The building is to be 50' by 80' clear span throughout, Building is to be a pre-engineered post/truss frame building open on one side with horizontal wall girts on three sides with metal siding application. Install metal wall panels from eave down 12'-0". Gable ends of roof/Truss system to be sided with metal wall panels. Roof covering to be 26-gauge Delta Rib steel panels or equal and all accessories for roofing to match. Wall panels to be 29-gauge Delta Rib metal panels or equal. MDT will select color package. Interior space MINIMUM opening height from grade level to bottom of truss is to be 22'-0" throughout entire structure. Truss pitch to be 4/12 or 5/12. Provide all wall girts and truss purlins needed for metal wall/roof panel installation as required. Building code design loads for wind, Snow and Seismic need to be taken in as consideration for building site area. Structurally brace all trusses as required.
