Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purpose of this solicitation is to provide services to control feral chickens on various City properties on the island of Oahu. Contractor shall assess, plan and execute a humane feral chicken program at the locations identified by the City, public, or the Officer-inCharge (OIC). Contractor shall provide all supplies, equipment and labor to fulfill the contract. A. Feral Chicken Removal: 1. Planning: a. Receive inquiries from all City Departments and the public regarding feral chicken control via in person inquiries, emails, or phone. b. Identify and prioritize at least three (3) locations based on City and/or public information. c. Evaluate and develop a recommended plan for humane and safe feral chicken trapping at each working location, how to address the situation, and how the work fits in the overall plan. d. Recommended feral chicken control plan to be submitted to the OIC for review and approval. e. Upon the OIC’s approval, the City will issue a delivery order (“DO”) to the Contractor to initiate performance of the services specified under the recommended plan. 2. Execution: a. Upon receipt of the DO from the City, Contractor shall begin execution of the approved feral chicken control plan. b. Set and maintain traps at each working site. c. Work shall be planned in seven (7) day cycles per site. At end of a cycle, if determined that an additional cycle is needed for a site, Contractor shall notify the OIC. d. Every trap shall be inspected daily to address any trappings and reset (including baiting).
