Specifications include, but are not limited to: Public Involvement Services for the Preliminary, Final and Construction Phases of the project. Example of engagement activities include developing a public involvement plan; preparation of project communications; development of project websites, branding, newsletters, and programs designed to assist the Department and communities during construction; graphics and visualizations; and other services required to deliver a successful public outreach program and promote positive community relations. Project Management Services to assist the Department and manage the Preliminary and Final Design Contracts, including task and schedule management, peer review, estimating, financial management and reporting, etc. Value Engineering Services, the task includes securing a multidisciplinary team not directly involved in the planning and design to administer a Value Engineering (VE) study that will assess the design and costs, provide recommendations to improve the project, as well as summarize and document the VE study. The multidisciplinary team is required to be led by an individual with training and experience in VE studies. Grant Writing, including preparation of reports, estimates, etc. Other additional tasks as needed to support assigned project/tasks.
