Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD) and Kentucky School for Blind (KSB) to upgrade the mechanical systems for their facilities. The HVAC Pool will provide for a comprehensive study of HVAC systems and phase in implementation of new HVAC systems at the Kentucky School for the Deaf, the Kentucky School for the Blind and the Future Farmers of America Leadership Training Center. The pool will also give KDE the flexibility to address the most pressing needs prior to system failure. Funding for this pool is from the State Fiscal Recovery Fund of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Once priorities are selected, then the design team shall proceed into full Phase A-D services.
