Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.1.1. Storm water samples will be visually inspected on a quarterly basis for the following indicators of pollution; color, odor, clarity, floating solids, settled solids, suspended solids, suspended solids, foam, oil sheen, and other obvious indicators of storm water pollution. The Agency will supply the form to document the examination. 4.1.1.2 Visual inspections will be conducted within the first 30 minutes (oras soon thereafter as practical, but not to exceed one hour) of when the runoff or snowmelt begins discharging. 4.1.1.3 The visual inspection will be conducted for Outfalls# 001 and 005. 4.1.1.4 The quarterly periods are: January - March; April - June; July - September; October - December. 4.1.1.5. The Vendor shall contact the POC to coordinate the sampling. The POCs are PFC Nolan Southerland at the Williamstown AASF # 1 and/or the Project Manager - Phil Emmerth. 4.1.1.6 The Contractor will sample the outfalls during normal business hours (M-F 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM excluding federal and state holidays). 4.1.1. 7 Description of Outfalls: Outfall # 001 - Discharge from Outfall # 001 is from an oil water separator that treats storm waste from concrete secondary containment systems. The drainage off of the secondary containment systems are controlled by a series of post indicator valves. The valves will need to be opened to allow storm water to flow and the visual inspection to be performed. Facility personnel will assist with operation. The outfall is easily accessible but you will need to obtain a gate key to gain access. Outfall# 005: Discharge from Outfall# 005 is from sheet runoff (or snowmelt) from portions of the concrete tarmac and grasses area. The outfall is accessible but down a slight ravine. See Attachment 1. 4.1.1.8 The Vendor is not responsible for completing and/or submitting any Discharge Monitoring Reports. 4.1.1.9 Deliverables -The Vendor shall provide one (1) signed copy of the form. The form shall be completed, signed and scanned to the Project Manager.
